WhiteFalcon Web Design
Websites are a key tool for a business to take advantage of. They can draw new clients to your business through internet searches and links from social media sites. They are a great place to give an effective first impression and inform people about what your business can do for them. It is important that your website be functional, professional and modern.
Responsive Web Design
Websites are no longer only viewed on a desktop or laptop. The majority of people now own phones that can surf the web, plus with the introduction of a wide variety of tablets it is becoming more and more important to think about responsive design.
Screen sizes can range from a relatively small 320px all the way up to 2560px or larger. Responsive design makes it possible to cater to all screen sizes by changing the layout of your website to automatically fit the current screen resolution.
Another aspect often overlooked in Responsive design is to make sure your website is compatible with as many devices as possible, staying away from non cross-browser friendly technologies such as flash.
Content Management Systems
Incorporating a Content Management System, also known as a CMS, as part of your website will allow you to add or modify content on your website for yourself.
The Content Management System which I will use on your website is easy to use, with only a small amount of guidance needed to get started. It has user friendly tools such as its drag and drop page creation and a similar text and image editor to common word programs like Microsoft Word. The CMS also has a proofing system which lets you see what your page will look like before it goes live.
Search Engine Optimisation
It is now common for most businesses to have an online presence; this in turn creates competition when trying to draw clients to your website via search engines like Google. To help rank higher with search engines, it is important to make your website as Search Engine Optimised (SEO) as possible.
I have had a lot of experience in working to make sites SEO friendly and am happy to work with you while we create your new website to achieve this.
Linking Google Analytics to your website allows you to track how many people view your website, which pages they visit and how many new users have viewed your site. Google Analytics is something I add as standard to all my websites.
A lot of people ask me about how to get their website to the top of google as fast as possible. Having good SEO, active social media and backlinks help considerably and will climb you up the google search ladder organically, but it can be a slow process. If you are looking for an instant solution you could try Google Addwords this lets you create “sponsored” search results at the top or on the side of google searches. If people click on your sponsored link it then costs you money. If this is something that you might like to do for your website I would be happy to recommend someone that could help.
